JeyaThe press meet to introduce the film 'Thillalangadi' happened 12th February 2010. Thillalangadi' is a remake of the 2009 Telugu blockbuster, ‘Kick’. The Tamil version stars ‘Jayam’ Ravi, Tamannah and Sham in major roles. Others in the cast are Prabhu, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Vadivelu and Santhanam.
At the press meet Director Raja said ‘Thilalangadi’ is nearing completion and is not his regular type of movie but a movie with a difference.
Everybody who spoke on the day was raving about a song in which ‘Jayam’ Ravi and Tamannah appear in multiples. It is a song shot in a 360 degrees set and everybody felt that is a first attempt in Tamil cinema.
Another person much talked about was Yuvan Shankar Raja. All hoped the songs have come great. Director Raja, Actors ‘Jayam’ Ravi, Tamannah, Producer Mohan, Lyricist Na. Muthukumar and others shared their experience in making the film.
