Jayam Ravi at Thilangadi Press Meet
JeyaThe press meet to introduce the film 'Thillalangadi' happened 12th February 2010. Thillalangadi' is a remake of the 2009 Telugu blockbuster, ‘Kick’. The Tamil version stars ‘Jayam’ Ravi, Tamannah and Sham in major roles. Others in the cast are Prabhu, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Vadivelu and Santhanam.
At the press meet Director Raja said ‘Thilalangadi’ is nearing completion and is not his regular type of movie but a movie with a difference.
Everybody who spoke on the day was raving about a song in which ‘Jayam’ Ravi and Tamannah appear in multiples. It is a song shot in a 360 degrees set and everybody felt that is a first attempt in Tamil cinema.
Another person much talked about was Yuvan Shankar Raja. All hoped the songs have come great. Director Raja, Actors ‘Jayam’ Ravi, Tamannah, Producer Mohan, Lyricist Na. Muthukumar and others shared their experience in making the film.

The Tamil film industry's Pasa Thalaivar Parattu Vizha to thank the Chief Minister for his largesse to the film industry was a grand starry affair at a packed Nehru Indoor Stadium on Saturday evening ( Feb 6).The function was graced by CM, his family members including Kanimozhi and Udayanidhi Stalin, Ministers and Amitabh Bachchan who was the special invitee from Mumbai.It was an evening of song, dance, drama and poetry which caught the imagination of the audience. The highlights of the evening were the song and dance performances by Prabhu Deva and Nayanthara, seen for the first time together in public. Prabhu Deva's Michael Jackson number and mix of songs of various regions got a huge applause.Bharath, Shammu, Sunaina, Jiiva, Aadhi, Shakti, Prasanna, Sneha, Jai, Keerthi Chawla, Krishna were some of the star performers of the evening. An entire contingent of TV artistes gave a scintillating performance
Ravi performed on stage with the upcoming actress Poorna, both of them sang a song from Dhaam Dhoom and was highly appreciated
